Internship

This program is coordinated and supervised by the guidance counselor. The main purpose of this is to provide students with the opportunity to attend and learn in a workplace in accordance with their interests. In addition to this, it is a great opportunity to put into practice the values that have been reinforced in our school’s Character Development Program; values and virtues that should direct the lives of everyone of society. Students, with the assistance of their parents, identify and decide with prospective employers to complete 200 hours of on-the-job training according to their professional interests. Starting in August, every Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, students participate in the Internship Program. That is, on those days, students do not report to school. Instead, they go directly to their “jobs”. Authorized school personnel maintain contact with employers and perform periodic evaluation visits.
